About the club

The Kingston Triathlon Club offers running, biking and swimming workouts in a fun, safe and non-competitive environment.  Club members support each other in achieving their goals – whether those are keeping fit, having fun or participating in races.

The club is headed by a volunteer board of directors:

  • Guy Phillips, President
  • Amanda Lollar, Treasurer
  • Andrew Hall, Board Member

Many other volunteers assist with workouts and social events – and everyone says a huge “Thank you” for all of their work. We are always looking for help and invite you to contact the club for more information.

Safety

All club events are planned to ensure participant safety. The club has a minimum age of 16 to take part in workouts. Since activities take place on public roads and in Lake Ontario, members must have a minimum ability. The club executive is available to advise members if they are unsure about their abilities.

Constitution and Policies

The Kingston Triathlon Club is governed by a Constitution. As well, it has a policy to prevent harassment of any kind (to view select “policy” from the dropdown menu on About The Club). The KTC is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment that is free from abuse and harassment, where all persons are treated with respect and fairness. This includes the Executive, coaches, volunteers, KTC members, participants and all others associated with any KTC event, whether training, coaching or a member’s presence at a race activity.  Therefore, the KTC Abuse and Harassment Policy and Procedures will be strictly adhered to.
